Welltopia connects Californians, especially those with limited incomes, with credible resources for healthy personal, family and community development, starting with topics that address the leading causes of preventable mortality and the social determinants of health.  Welltopia includes a wide-range of resources, on topics including nutrition, physical activity, smoking cessation, alcohol and drug abuse prevention, stress management, health insurance, residency, and social services, among others. Resources include other websites, directories, videos, photos, graphics, and applications.



Join FAMILIA to receive family planning text messages!

Text LAFAMILIA to 55000 to get health text messages sent directly to your phone! Text messages focus on simple steps you can take to become healthier. Topics include: family planning, active living, maintaining a healthy weight, improving nutrition, reducing stress, and addressing abuse. Each message links the FAMILIA website (, which has more information, apps, blogs, and videos related to that topic. You will receive three healthy living texts each week for three months. You can choose to receive messages in English or Spanish. By taking charge of your health, you are taking charge of your future.

ICD-9 Policy Holding Library
Providers will no longer be able to refer to the Family PACT Policies, Procedures and Billing Instructions manual for ICD-9-CM diagnosis codes on or after September 16, 2015. Providers can still view ICD-9 policy in the ICD-9 Policy Holding Library on the ICD-10 page of the Medi-Cal website.
